CHARMING DISASTER’S ‘TIME MACHINE ’ - ANIMATED MUSIC VIDEO

To coincide with their new album ‘The Double,’ the folk-goth duo Charming Disaster reached out to collaborate to bring the visuals of their song ‘Time Machine’ to life.

Following two time travelers, Time Machine is a loose, experimental, story focused on the idea of connection between others despite being separated by time.

On this video I served as director, production designer, character modeler, texture artist, lighting artist, prop modeler, and compositing artist.

It has been a fun, yet challenging experience - I have grown a lot as an artist by making decisions on the fly given the tight time-frame. This project is essentially a team of two - myself and my animator Katie Limentato.

Holiday Ad with Kahwa Coffee

For the holidays, I had the idea to collaborate with a coffee company local to St Pete, Florida, to promote their holiday blend and drinks.

Although short in duration, I used this opportunity to flex all my muscles of the CG pipeline.

I modeled a character in Zbrush with full body retopology, done in Maya, I textured her using Substance Painter, and Substance designer for her sweater material, I did the lighting in Unreal 5.5, and did the compositing and rendering out of Nuke.

This was a super great experience, and I hope it opens the door to do more promotional material like this in the future!
